THE MASS IS THE GREATEST FORM OF CHRISTIAN CHARITY...
To schedule a Mass for someone living or deceased, please fill out the Mass Form envelope found in the vestibule of the church and deliver it to the rectory office, or place it in the collection basket. Completion of the Mass Form envelope will ensure proper recording of dates, names, etc. Alternately, you can download this form and fill it out and return it to the rectory.
SANCTUARY CANDLES
If you are interested in donating the Living Flame of The Sanctuary Light, please contact the rectory office. By donating $25 for a week or $100 for the month, your name or intention will be placed in the bulletin.
ALTAR FLOWERS
If you would like to commemorate a special event, anniversary or the memory of a loved one by making a donation for the altar flowers, please contact the rectory office: 525-4413.
PARKING
There is plenty of street parking around St. Patrick's. Be sure to check your meter to see if you need to pay while you're here. Also, on Saturday and Sunday, many of the loading zones do not apply. Please pay attention to the signs.
There is no longer free parking in the adjacent lot on Camp Street. However, Premium Parking Services has graciously compromised to allow us a reduced rate of TWO DOLLARS during the hours of weekend Masses. As of August 27, 2011:
Saturday evening Masses
4:00 p.m. (20 minutes before and 20 minutes after).
5:30 p.m. (20 minutes before and 20 minutes after).
Sunday Masses
8:00 a.m. (20 minutes before and 20 minutes after).
9:30 a.m. (20 minutes before and 20 minutes after).
11:00 a.m. (20 minutes before and 20 minutes after).
5:30 p.m. (20 minutes before and 10 minutes after).
WHAT THIS MEANS: You can get to church 20 minutes early for Mass and get the $2 rate. If you get there BEFORE 20 minutes early, then you must pay the full rate. And, you must leave within 20 minutes after Mass (or 10 minutes, in the case of Sunday at 5:30pm).
PARKING - FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE
St. Patrick's has a new parking arrangement with Firestone Complete Auto Care at 800 Camp Street. Registered parishioners can park at Firestone during Mass times, from half hour before until half hour after Mass. You must remove your vehicle within half an hour after the Mass. There will be NO parking during special events, including but not limited to Saints home games and White Linen Night. EVERYONE parking at Firestone must display in a place visible from the exterior of the vehicle a parking permit distributed by St. Patrick's. The permit will only be given to registered parishioners and will include your full name and a contact number. Please contact the office to get your permit. Again, you MUST have a St. Patrick's Firestone Parking Permit displayed on your dashboard while you are parked there.
Please note that there is also NO PARKING AT FIRESTONE ON WEEKENDS WHEN THE SAINTS PLAY AT HOME!
The management of Firestone Auto Care is generously allowing St. Patrick’s churchgoers to use their auto lot for off street parking during the weekend Masses. Let us all be very careful in following their instructions. Please read the instructions on your permit carefully.
Sunday Propers
If you would like to print out your own propers for the Latin Mass, you can find them on the Una Voce of Orange County (CA) website. Currently the liturgical calendars only cover through 2011. If you like, you can order your own St. Andrew Daily Missal from St. Bonaventure Publications.
CLARION HERALD MAILING
Many parishioners have inquired about not receiving direct home mailing of the Clarion Herald. The Archdiocese has not resumed the direct home mailing of its newspaper but copies are sent to the church and placed in the vestibule for the taking. Also, the latest edition of the Clarion Herald, along with many of the back issues, can be read online at: http://www.clarionherald.org/.

St. Patrick’s recently received a message from the Archdiocese informing us of the following guidelines concerning Mass intentions:
1. There should be one Mass offered each weekend exclusively for the parishioners of your parish. In other words, it is not a specific intention for someone, but for the whole parish and this should be the only intention at one of the weekend Masses.
2. Multiple intentions are allowed for only two Masses each week at a particular location. The pastor may determine which two Masses will be multiple intention Masses.
3. The donation for Mass intentions is to be $5.00, but even if someone is not able to make this donation, every effort to include their intention should be made.
4. If in your parish or location you receive requests for more intentions than you can accommodate, please know that Mass intentions can be forwarded to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith who will welcome such donations and the opportunity to have these Masses offered in the missions.
Mass intentions for 2017 that have already been submitted and recorded will be honored as requested. The two Masses that Father Klores has designated, that will have multiple intentions, are the 5:30 P.M. Saturday Vigil and the 9:30 A.M. Sunday Latin Mass. The remaining Masses will only be allowed to have one intention per Mass.
The Mass Book will fill up quickly so please try and schedule your Mass intentions as early as possible, as we do understand that many people request Mass intentions on dates that hold a special significance to them.
