Father Klores will be issuing Firestone parking permits this weekend, for those who would like to use the parking spaces at the Firestone facility. Or you can download your own here.

1. The permits must be displayed in the front window/dash board area of the car and visible for all to read.
2. The permits are valid only during the Mass times on Saturday & Sunday.
3. Park only in the designated spaces marked by yellow lines.
4. Handicapped marked zones are never to be used.
5. Do not park against or near the Firestone building.
6. Do not block the driveway or bay doors.
7. Vehicles must vacate the lot 30 minutes following the Masses and by 7:00p.m. on Saturday.
8. Failure to comply with the regulations will result in your vehicle being booted or towed to the auto pound at your expense.

Following the 5:30p.m. Mass, in the rectory. Please bring a dish or dessert to share; door prizes to be awarded. Come enjoy fellowship among young adults of St. Patrick’s parish; art gallery openings with refreshments will be held that night.

World Mission Sunday, organized by the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, is a day set aside for Catholics worldwide to recommit themselves to the Church’s missionary activity through prayer and sacrifice. World Mission Sunday collection will be taken this weekend at all Masses. Please be generous as you have in the past.

All Souls envelopes are now available in the vestibule of the church. The names of deceased loved ones should be recorded and the envelope delivered to the rectory office, or placed in a collection basket, before All Souls Day, Wednesday, November 2, 2011. The listed names will be remembered at all the Masses celebrated that day.

Food For The Poor has sent a message thanking everyone for the welcome extended to Father Bouterie on his recent visit to St. Patrick’s.
Also, gratitude for the generosity extended by St. Patrick’s parishioners, to the less fortunate brothers and sisters of Latin America and the Caribbean. They, and you, are blessed by your kindness.

At the annual fund raising event for St. Patrick’s Church the “Monday Morning Counters” were honored for their faithful service to our parish. The following parishioners were recognized for their dedicated service in counting and recording the funds given to the Church through all of the collections: Roquey & Anna Jobes; Elliotte Harold; Connie Falati; Toby & Pat Russo; Lee Rung; Myrna Hosli; Mary Ann & John Ciravolo and Rosary Stoltman (posthumously awarded). Kudos to the group from a grateful parish.

Reading glasses and socks for the needy will be collected by the St. Vincent de Paul Society this weekend October 8 & 9 and next weekend October 10 & 11, 2011. Collection boxes will be located in the vestibule of the church. All contributions are gladly accepted.
