St. Peter Catholic Church in Covington, LA will host its 2nd annual Day of Healing for individuals and couples who, at any point in their lives, did not follow God’s plan for openness to life, particularly in the areas of sterilization and contraception.
Reverend José Lavastida, President Rector, Notre Dame Seminary, Lisa Flood, Chuck and Bridget Stiebing, Jason Angelette and Gayle Risso will share God’s awesome plan for marriage, personal testimonies, Theology of the Body as an instrument of healing, experiencing the fullness of marital love, and more. The Sacrament of Reconciliation and a special Holy Mass will be offered.

Father Luke Melcher, will celebrate his First Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form at St. Patrick’s Church on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. While a seminarian at Notre Dame Seminary Father Melcher often assisted during Mass here at St. Patrick’s Church. Congratulations, Father Melcher!

The second collection April 2 & 3, 2011 will be dedicated to Catholic Relief Services. CRS supports projects all over the world that provide humanitarian assistance, economic and agricultural development, advocacy, and emergency relief. Your donation makes a difference, please be generous.

Join us on our upcoming Married Couples Retreat at St. Joseph Abbey Christian Life Center. The retreat begins on Saturday, April 2nd at 9am and ends at 1pm on Sunday, April 3rd.
