Refreshments will be served after the Mass in the school cafeteria. This celebration is held annually on the anniversary of the Battle of New Orleans in fulfillment of a vow made by the Ursuline Sisters that a Mass of Thanksgiving would be held annually and the Te Deum sung on this date.

Father Stanley Klores, is sponsoring an event for home school students and their families at the Louisiana Children’s Museum, New Orleans’ most playful place to explore, experience and learn!

After the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday Masses, students and their families are invited to visit the museum. Refreshments, provided by St. Patrick’s, will be served from 11:00a.m.—1:00p.m. in the theater of the museum. St. Patrick’s guests will receive a special reduced rate of admittance of only $3.50 per child or adult. A recently completed, unique new feature of the museum is the third floor, which features the rebuilding of New Orleans - post Katrina - where guests can simulate home building and restoration. Be sure to bring your camera!

Seelos Birthday Healing Mass

Father Bryon Miller, C.Ss.R., Vice Postulator for the Cause of Canonization, will celebrate a special Healing Mass and the Sacrament of Anointing on the anniversary of the birth of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, C.Ss.R.

Before Mass, starting at 11:45 a.m., there will be the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and veneration of relic missionary crucifix.
