MASS—EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION—BENEDICTION

9:30 A.M.—Holy Mass; Celebrated by Archbishop Aymond.; National Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor; campus of Ursuline Academy; 2635 State St., New Orleans.

After Mass everyone is invited to walk one mile on State Street to St. Charles Avenue, arriving at Holy Name of Jesus Church (6363 St. Charles Avenue) where the procession will end.

12:00 P.M. (noon) Benediction at Holy Name of Jesus Church.

Corpus Christi Procession – June 2

Sunday, June 2, 2013, the Solemn High Mass will begin at 9:15 a.m., with the annual Corpus Christi Procession following the Mass. This will allow parishioners at both the 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses to participate in the procession. The time change on this date applies only to the Solemn High Mass.

Congratulations – Deacon Ian Bozant

Congratulations to Deacon Ian Bozant, who was ordained a transitional deacon on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. Louis Cathedral. Deacon Bozant has faithfully served St. Patrick’s while a seminarian at Notre Dame Seminary both as acolyte and as sub-deacon. Our prayers and best wishes are with Deacon Bozant as he begins his ordained life of service to the People of God. Deacon Bozant will be serving as Deacon for the first time at a Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form at 9:30 a.m. this Sunday.

St. Patrick’s Respect Life Group will pray a rosary in front of Louisiana’s largest abortion facility, on the corner of Ridgelake Drive and 20th Street in Metairie, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 9:00 A.M. Everyone is invited!

St. Patrick’s 2014 Calendar Sponsor

We are currently looking for a sponsor for our 2014 Calendars. The calendars are distributed to the parishioners around Christmas time. This is a great opportunity to support the church and at the same time advertise your business. The sponsor would be responsible for reimbursing the church for the total cost of the calendars. The church receives the bill in November around the time that the calendars are delivered.
The sponsor and the church have a black and white ad at the bottom of the calendar. The dimension of your ad space is 5” wide x 2.25” tall. If using a logo or picture it would need to be supplied to the church in a pdf or jpeg file. You can view the 2014 calendar line at www.jspaluch.com.

Summer at Camp Abbey

Summer at Camp Abbey will offer three one-week camp sessions for boys from June 9-29, 2013, and three one-week camp sessions for girls from July 7-27, 2013. Eligible campers are those young people completing 2nd through 8th grades in May 2013.
