Are you interested in a deeper relationship with God, do you want to improve your prayer life? Lord Teach Me To Pray is a three-part prayer series based on Ignatian Spirtuality. Beginning the week of Sept. 12, 2016 all three parts of the series will be offered in a number of parishes throughout the Archdiocese. The Lord Teach Me To Pray prayer seried has been approved by the Publishing Office of the United States Conference of Catholic (USCCB).

St. Patrick’s Respect Life Group will pray a rosary at the Planned Parenthood site on the corner of South Claiborne Ave. and Cadiz St., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. Everyone is invited!
Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Solemn Mass in the Extraordinary Form will be celebrated here at Saint Patrick’s. Our choir, accompanied by an instrumental ensemble, will offer the Mass No. 2 in G Major by Franz Schubert, and the Gregorian chants proper to the feast. Please plan to join us that evening, and invite your friends! All are welcome to attend the Mass.
White Linen Night, the Contemporary Arts Center’s largest annual fundraiser, is this Saturday, August 6. The block party is held on the 300-700 blocks of Julia Street from 5:30pm – 9:30pm. Julia street will be closed from 12pm-11pm Saturday. Also, the 700 and 800 blocks of Camp Street and Magazine Street will be closed to vehicular traffic during the party, from 5:30-9:30. The metered spots along the 700 and 800 blocks of Camp and Magazine streets will be unavailable from 10am-11pm.
St. Patrick still will have our regular Mass at 5:30pm even though vehicular access will be restricted. If you prefer, you can join us at our 4:00pm Mass at St. John the Baptist.
Monday, August 15, 2016, is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The rectory office will be closed on August 15, 2016, and will reopen on Tuesday, August 16, 2016.
