NOW MEETING IN THE RECTORY EVERY THURSDAY AT 7:00 P.M
The Trinity is the greatest mystery of the Catholic faith. Come join Dr. David Liberto, professor of Dogmatic and Historical Theology at Notre Dame Seminary, as he guides a reading group using texts from some of the greatest theologians of the Church. Texts from Gregory of Nyssa, Augustine, Anselm, and Thomas Aquinas will be examined. Dr. Liberto will provide all of the reading materials. Don’t miss this opportunity to better understand the Church’s teaching on the Most Holy Trinity.
It is our archdiocesan tradition to offer the Sacrament of Penance on a weekday evening near the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. This year confessions will be available in all Catholic churches in the Archdiocese of New Orleans on Wednesday, September 9, beginning at 7:00pm and ending at 8:00pm.
Church and Rectory Office will be closed. There will be no Mass on Labor Day.

All are invited to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the landfall of Hurricane Katrina in our area, and the devastation that it caused in an interfaith service at St. Louis Cathedral. Archbishop Aymond will be in attendance, as well as clergy from other churches and many other religious traditions. Civil and military officials have been invited to join us in this service as well. Rabbi Edward Cohn of Temple Sinai will be delivering the reflection. The service will be on Monday, August 24, at 7:00 PM.
A new choral season will soon begin, and all parishioners and friends of St. Patrick’s are warmly encouraged to consider joining one of our choral groups: Parish Choir (men & women); Schola Cantorum for men focuses on Gregorian chant; Boys’ Choir and Girls’ Choir. No special training or experience is necessary to join any of these groups.
