DVDs of our 2014 Christmas Midnight Mass, beautifully filmed by Mr. Philip Braun III, are now available for purchase. The cost is $25, and a sample can be seen on our website under the MERCH link. You can buy it on our website, or at the rectory during normal office hours.
Father Klores’ back surgery was a success and he is now resting at home in the rectory. He is very grateful for all of the prayers and best wishes for his speedy recovery and is looking forward to a strong back, good health and a return to his pastoral duties.
The Knights of Columbus Marquette Council is having a blood drive on Wednesday, July 8, from 6-9pm at the Council Hall. Donors will be entered into a drawing for 2 tickets to the Garth Brooks concert. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up, or fill out the sheet in the vestibule.
Father Stanley Klores, and all the assisting priests, extend best wishes to all fathers and grandfathers on this their special day. All Masses will be offered for your intentions this weekend and may St. Joseph protect and intercede for all of our fathers living and departed.

The Rite of Christian Initiation For Adults (RCIA) process is the starting place for adults who are thinking about entering the Catholic Church, or returning to the Church. Father Klores will be having back surgery on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, followed by a period of rest and recuperation. Our thoughts and prayers will be with Father for a speedy and complete recovery.
During this period Father David Brown SJ, a familiar summer visitor, will be helping with the pastoral duties here at St. Patrick’s. A sincere welcome back is extended to Father Brown.
Father David Brown SJ, is a New Orleans native who is a member of the New Orleans Province of the Society of Jesus.
Father Brown did his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, earning a B.S. in physics in 1988. He was admitted into the Society of Jesus in 1991.
As a Jesuit, he studied at Fordham University in New York City where he earned a masters in philosophy (1995); did his theology studies at the Weston School of Theology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, graduating with an M.Div. (1999-2002). He was ordained a priest in 2002.
Upon completion of his doctoral studies in astrophysics at the University of Oxford in England, Father Brown joined the Vatican Observatory in November 2008, where he continues to work on various aspects of stellar evolution. He also serves as the librarian, as well as caretaker of the telescopes of the Vatican Observatory in Castel Gandolfo.
