On Sunday, June 22, 2014, The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Solemnity of Corpus Christi), the 9:30 A.M. Solemn High Mass WILL BE CHANGED TO 9:00 A.M. The time change applies to this Sunday only.
Immediately following the 9:00 a.m. Mass, at approximately 10:15 a.m., the annual Corpus Christi Procession with the Blessed Sacrament will take place. Parishioners attending the 11:00 a.m. Mass should arrive before 10:15 a.m. to be present for the procession.
All of St. Patrick’s parishioners, and those attending the Masses, are invited to participate in this venerable tradition.
Twenty-nine of our children will receive their First Holy Communion at both the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses.
This Sunday, Father Ian Michael Bozant, an adopted “son” of St. Patrick’s and a frequent server at our historic church during his priestly education, will be celebrating his First Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form at 9:30 A.M.
Following the Mass, Father Bozant will be in the courtyard, adjacent to Reynolds Hall, during the regular coffee hour to bestow his first priestly blessings on all who attend. Everyone is most cordially invited. God’s Blessings Be Upon You, Father Bozant.
Father Stanley Klores, and all the assisting priests, extend best wishes to all fathers and grandfathers on this their special day. All Masses will be offered for your intentions this weekend and may St. Joseph protect and intercede for all of our fathers living and departed.
