Senior Catholic sisters, brothers, and religious order priests spent years working in Catholic schools, hospitals, and social-service agencies, often with little, if any, pay. Their sacrifices now leave their religious communities without adequate savings for retirement and elder care. The second collection next weekend will be taken for the Retirement Fund for Religious.
