On the weekend of August 4 & 5, 2012 we will welcome Monsignor Ted Bertagni who will be here on behalf of Cross Catholic Outreach., a Christ-centered ministry founded to help the poor throughout the world. The organization assist the desperate families through a network of church-based ministries: feeding centers, orphanages, schools, clinics, job-training centers and home-building programs. Evangelization and 125 years of service among the Black, Indian, Eskimo and Aleute communities has been the singular purpose of the Black and Indian Mission Collection. The funds from the annual appeal have been responsible for continuing the Church’s faithful support in the evangelization needs of the Black and Native American communities in the United States. At all Masses this weekend the second collection will be taken to help support this special mission. Please be generous.
